Jamie provides health information and guidance, not medical diagnosis. Jamie is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. In an emergency, call 911.
1. Nature of the service
Jamie is a health information and care navigation tool. It helps people understand their symptoms, assess urgency, and identify appropriate care options. Jamie does not provide medical diagnoses, prescriptions, or treatment recommendations. Jamie is an artificial intelligence system, not a human clinician or healthcare professional.
2. Not a replacement for professional care
Information provided by Jamie is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
3. Emergency situations
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. Do not use Jamie to manage emergency situations. Jamie's emergency escalation feature is designed to direct you to emergency services. It is not a substitute for calling 911.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use Jamie only for lawful purposes, to provide accurate information when using the service, and not to attempt to circumvent or manipulate the safety features of the system.
5. Automated processing
Jamie generates triage recommendations through automated processing of your symptom inputs against established clinical protocols. Jamie is not making binding clinical decisions. You have the right to: (a) be informed that a recommendation was generated by automated means; (b) request information about the inputs and clinical protocols that contributed to the recommendation; (c) request that a qualified person review the automated recommendation. 6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Jamie Health is not liable for decisions made based on information provided by the Jamie platform. Healthcare decisions are the responsibility of the individual and their qualified healthcare providers.
QUEBEC RESIDENTS: Notwithstanding the foregoing, if you are a resident of Quebec, the limitations and exclusions of liability in this Section 6 do not apply to liability for bodily or moral injury, in accordance with Article 1474 of the Civil Code of Quebec.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of Jamie after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Jurisdiction-specific provisions
QUEBEC RESIDENTS: In addition to the automated processing rights in Section 5 above, you have the right to receive information provided by this service in French. Where the English and French versions of these terms conflict, the version most favourable to you applies, in accordance with Article 55 of the Quebec Charter of the French Language.
CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS: In accordance with California AB 489 (effective January 1, 2026): Jamie is an AI-powered tool. Jamie does not claim to be a licensed healthcare professional or provide licensed clinical services.
